New Location Features Loan Production Office, Innovative Personal and Commercial Banking Technology

Sonora, TX (May 8, 2024) – Sonora Bank announced today that it has expanded its presence in the Hill Country market with the opening of a new satellite office in Hutto, Texas, extending the bank’s footprint to 10 locations across Texas. The location features a loan production office and showcases Sonora Bank’s commitment to offering customers the latest technology and tools for personal and commercial banking with the installation of an Interactive Teller Machine and Cash Exchange Machine.

“As our footprint across West Texas and the Hill Country have grown significantly, we have remained committed to helping our customers to be successful and our communities continue to grow through personalized customer service and pioneering technology,” said Bob Malone, Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Sonora Bank. “We are looking forward to extending our commercial and consumer capabilities to support one of the fastest-growing markets in the State of Texas and we will soon break ground on a new branch in Hutto that will open its doors early next year.”

The satellite office features an Interactive Teller Machine (ITM), which expands the capabilities of traditional deposit taking ATMS by giving customers more options for conducting banking services, such as paying a loan, transferring funds between accounts, or speaking with a live customer service representative via video during banking hours. The location also offers the use of a Cash Exchange Machine (CEM), a self-service machine that exchanges high denomination banknotes for lower denominations and/or coin. The site offers secure, 24-hour access to both the ITM and CEM.
