Sonora Bank Expands Presence in Hill Country with Hutto Branch Opening

Sonora Bank Expands Presence in Hill Country with Hutto Branch Opening,
Marking the Bank’s 9th Branch and 11th Location

Sonora, TX (Feb. 25, 2025) – Sonora Bank is proud to announce the opening of its newest branch in Hutto, Texas, marking the bank’s 9th branch and 11th location. The expansion reaffirms Sonora Bank’s commitment to providing convenient, community-focused banking services to residents and businesses in West Texas and beyond.

“While our roots trace back to West Texas, we are thrilled to continue growing into the Hill Country with the opening of our newest branch in Hutto,” said Bob Malone, Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Sonora Bank. “This community has been incredibly welcoming since we opened our Loan Production Office in 2024. Our new branch location represents our investment and commitment to Hutto and the Hill Country, to ensuring customers have access to top-tier financial services, the latest technology tools and the personal relationships that set us apart. We are truly excited to continue growing with the Hill Country community.”

The new branch, located at 251 Exchange Blvd, replaces the existing Loan Production Office at 111 Co-Op Blvd, Ste. 302, with a full range of financial services, including personal and commercial banking, loans, mortgages and investment solutions. Customers will also benefit from state-of-the-art digital banking tools and personalized service from a team of experienced professionals.

While the LPO will close, the Interactive Teller Machine (ITM) will remain in operation for customer convenience. ITMs expand the capabilities of traditional deposit taking ATMs by giving customers more options for conducting banking services, such as paying a loan, transferring funds between accounts, or speaking with a live customer service representative via video during banking hours. The location will continue to offer the use of a Cash Exchange Machine (CEM), a self-service machine that exchanges high denomination banknotes for lower denominations and/or coin. The site offers secure, 24-hour access to both the ITM and CEM.

Leading the new Hutto branch will be Senior Vice President, Michael Prince. Prince joined the Sonora Bank team in launching the Hutto Loan Production Office in 2023. Michael has more than 20 years of banking experience primarily in the commercial and real estate lending. He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Oklahoma State University and is a graduate of the Southern Methodist University’s Southwest Graduate School of Banking.
